A lifelong learning society is an awareness of the value and importance of learning, having a habit of being interested and seeking knowledge consistently, being able to learn from various experiences and using knowledge and skills to perform duties with maximum efficiency for oneself, family, community and society, with a social process that promotes individuals, groups and communities to learn and develop continuously. Knowledge transfer and mutual exchange are essential mechanisms for creating a lifelong learning society, making it a quality human resource that benefits the people and culture.
Burapha University Library is aware of the development of learning in older people. Therefore, it has organised the Lifelong Learning for Society project to promote lifelong learning for older people through learning activities.

Objectives:
- To create knowledge for older people in the community to learn throughout their lives.
- To create a good relationship between the library and the community.
- To organise a library corner to promote reading and learning at the Elderly Potential Development Center, Saensuk Municipality, Chonburi Province.
Program Activities:
- Contact and coordinate with the Elderly Potential Development Center, Saensuk Municipality, Chonburi, to survey the area and inquire about needs and expectations for the project.
- Create the project and appoint a committee to operate.
- Prepare materials and equipment for organising activities, namely the activity “Easy Notebooks You Can Make Your Own” and the activity “Basol for Health”
- Select donated books that meet the needs to create a bibliography and enter the data into the automatic library system (MyLib), and organise books with symbols to separate them by category and colour bars to organise the library corner to promote reading and learning at the Elderly Potential Development Center.
Expected Outcomes (Impacts):
- Older adults in Saensuk Municipality can practice by themselves using the knowledge from making notebooks.
- Older adults in Saensuk Municipality join health promotion activities to help improve their health.
- The library of the Elderly Potential Development Center, Saensuk Municipality, Chonburi has a book corner to promote reading and support lifelong learning.
- The library and the community have created a good relationship.
