The Faculty of Engineering, Burapha University, is committed to enhancing the quality of education in alignment with international standards, particularly ABET accreditation, which is globally recognised. This aims to prepare graduates with high competencies who can meet the needs of the industry and support sustainable national development. On this occasion, the Faculty welcomed a study visit from Ubon Ratchathani University to transfer knowledge, share best practices, and exchange real experiences. This collaboration benefits the advancement of engineering education quality nationwide and reflects the university’s role in fostering cooperation toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Objectives:
To exchange knowledge and best practices in managing undergraduate engineering education quality in accordance with ABET standards between the Faculty of Engineering, Burapha University, and Ubon Ratchathani University. The aim is to elevate educational standards, strengthen academic collaboration, and support the Sustainable Development Goals in education.
Program Activities:
The Faculty of Engineering, Burapha University, welcomed representatives from Ubon Ratchathani University and organised academic meetings and knowledge exchanges on ABET quality assurance readiness at the university, faculty, and program levels. The program included sharing experiences from accredited units, discussing systematic development approaches, and visiting Automation Park, engineering laboratories, and learning support facilities to promote a deeper understanding of creating a high-quality learning environment.
Expected Outcomes (Impacts):
Participants gained enhanced understanding of ABET implementation guidelines and established collaborative networks between the two institutions for advancing engineering education in Thailand. The project supported educational quality improvement and lifelong learning, strengthened the reputation of Burapha University’s Faculty of Engineering as a leader in academic excellence in the Eastern region, and aligned with SDG 4, 9, and 17 at both institutional and national levels.
