Mangrove Reforestation Project 2025

Mangrove Reforestation Project 2025

Mangroves are a natural resource that is very important to the marine ecosystem. The benefits of mangroves are that they are a food source for animals that live there, such as shrimp, shellfish, crabs, and fish. They are a nursery for marine animals, help prevent and slow down the speed of water currents that hit the shore, make the soil stronger, prevent natural disasters that affect the livelihoods of those living nearby, are a source that can greatly reduce the amount of carbon dioxide, and are also a place to study nature. Burapha University Library is aware of the environmental and natural resource problems, which are important problems that all sectors should participate in taking responsibility for. Therefore, the mangrove planting project, which is an activity in the Green Library project, is organized to restore and conserve the mangrove forests in the area to return them to their original state, as well as instill a sense of awareness in the library staff to realize the value of the environment and to jointly preserve natural resources.

Objectives:

1. To create awareness for library personnel to realize the value of natural resource and environmental conservation.      2. To restore and conserve mangrove forest areas and sustainably maintain natural resources.

Project Activities:

1. Contact and coordinate with Nong Sim Subdistrict Administrative Organization to organize activities

2. Set the date and time for the activities
