This collaborative dialogue with Geely Talent Development Group stems from a strategic vision to establish a robust international network for human resource development, specifically targeting the New Energy Vehicles (NEV) sector.

Objectives:

  • To establish a dynamic international collaboration network focused on workforce development in the New Energy Vehicles (NEV) sector.
  • To co-develop modern curricula and facilitate impactful student and personnel exchange programs between Burapha University and Geely Talent Development Group.
  • To elevate the potential of the Thai workforce, ensuring they are fully equipped to meet the regional demands of the modern automotive industry and the digital economy.

Program Activities:

On April 20, 2026, the Lifelong Learning Division of Burapha University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr Marut Tangwattanachuleeporn, Vice President for Academic Services and Lifelong Learning, hosted a delegation from Geely Talent Development Group (under Geely Holding Group, PR China) at the EEC Automation Park to discuss strategic academic and workforce development collaborations.

Asst. Prof. Dr Nayot Kurukitkoson, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, warmly welcomed the delegation and co-led the strategic discussions. Key topics of the meeting included:

  • Student and staff exchange programs.
  • Joint curriculum development with a specialised focus on New Energy Vehicles (NEV).
