Participating in this educational expo stems from a strong commitment to promoting our academic programs and inspiring students and parents in Chonburi and surrounding areas.
The significance of this initiative lies in guiding youth toward the engineering profession and fostering a deep interest in engineering and technology. These young individuals are the crucial demographic for cultivating a high-quality workforce that meets the demands of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and drives the nation’s sustainable development.
Project Coordinator: Faculty of Engineering, Burapha University
Objectives:
- To promote the Faculty of Engineering’s academic programs and teaching methodologies to prospective students and their parents.
- To inspire and provide clear guidance on educational pathways leading to a successful engineering career.
- To cultivate a strong interest in engineering and technology among the younger generation, aligning their aspirations with the nation’s developmental needs.
Program Activities:
The Faculty of Engineering at Burapha University proudly participated in the “2nd Higher Education and University Gateway Expo,” hosted by the Educational Supervisory Unit of the Pattaya City Education Bureau, from May 15–16, 2026, at the Indoor Athletics Stadium, Eastern National Sports Training Center in Chonburi.
During the event, the Faculty of Engineering set up an interactive booth to provide students and parents with comprehensive information on our curriculum, teaching methodologies, and university preparation guidelines. The setup allowed prospective students to engage closely with faculty members and senior engineering students. These personal interactions aimed to inspire youth and offer tailored guidance for their future engineering careers.
The atmosphere was vibrant, with a continuous flow of students from various schools visiting the faculty’s booth. This high level of engagement reflects the younger generation’s growing enthusiasm for engineering and technology, which perfectly aligns with the faculty’s vision of nurturing high-quality students ready to propel the nation’s future development. Furthermore, this participation significantly broadened the faculty’s public outreach and strengthened collaborative relationships with educational institutions across Pattaya and Chonburi.
Expected Outcomes (Impacts):
- Empowered Decision-Making: Students and parents across Chonburi and nearby provinces received accurate, comprehensive information regarding the curricula, learning environments, and preparation pathways for entering Burapha University’s Faculty of Engineering.
- Increased Inspiration and Engagement: The event successfully sparked a heightened interest in engineering education, particularly among young innovators passionate about modern technology.
- Awareness of Future Opportunities: Participants gained a deeper understanding of the critical role engineers play in national development and the specific workforce demands within the EEC. This knowledge empowers students to plan their academic and professional futures strategically.
- Enhanced Institutional Outreach: The initiative effectively promoted the Faculty of Engineering to a broader audience, fostering a strong, positive public image. This helps attract high-potential students who will eventually become the driving force behind the nation’s industrial advancement, fully aligning with the faculty’s vision of being a leading engineering institution for the Eastern region’s industrial growth.
