Academic Cooperation between the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Burapha University, and SO-CTEP Thai Therapeutic Clinical Training & Exchange Pty Ltd, Australia

The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Burapha University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SO-CTEP Thai Therapeutic Clinical Training & Exchange Pty Ltd, Australia, to promote academic, professional, and international knowledge exchange. This cooperation is significant because it supports the international development of the Faculty’s curriculum and professional capacity. It also creates opportunities for students, graduates, and staff, especially in the field of Applied Thai Traditional Medicine, to prepare for professional work in Australia.

The objectives of the project are to promote international academic cooperation, develop professional skills in health-related fields, exchange knowledge at the international level, support Applied Thai Traditional Medicine graduates, and prepare alumni for skill training and employment opportunities in Australia.

The project was implemented through the signing of an academic Memorandum of Understanding on 10 April 2026. Under this agreement, Burapha University will serve as a Massage Assessment Center, or MAC, for alumni of the Applied Thai Traditional Medicine program. The center will assess Thai massage skills before graduates receive further training and preparation for professional work in Australia.

The project creates concrete international opportunities for students, graduates, and staff of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences. It strengthens professional development in Thai traditional medicine and Thai massage, expands international collaboration, and supports graduates in preparing for overseas employment. It also enhances the Faculty’s academic reputation and contributes to the internationalization of health-related education and professional training.
