CES–CHEM Meeting 2025: Sustainable Chemistry through Sustainable Consortium

CES–CHEM Meeting 2025 was jointly organised by the Faculty of Engineering, Burapha University, AUN/SEED-Net, and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to advance research in sustainable chemistry and sustainable engineering. The meeting served as an international platform for sharing knowledge and academic progress, and for building research networks—connecting research outcomes to real-world applications in industry and society.
The initiative aligns with the Faculty’s vision to be a leading engineering faculty supporting industrial development in Thailand’s Eastern region and contributes to SDG implementation through strategic partnerships.

Project Coordinator: Faculty of Engineering, Burapha University

Objectives:

  • To present and exchange research progress in sustainable chemistry
  • To strengthen research collaboration between Thai and international researchers
  • To support student and early-career researcher development through real research learning
  • To encourage the applied use of chemistry and engineering knowledge for sustainable industry
  • To drive SDGs through strategic collaboration

Program Activities:

The meeting was organised as an international academic conference, featuring an opening ceremony, presentations on CES–CHEM initiatives, research progress sharing by Thai and Japanese researchers, student flash presentations, faculty and department visits, and academic discussions on sustainable chemistry to build shared understanding and expand future research collaboration.

Expected Outcomes (Impacts):
