Welcoming the Delegation from the Engineering Student Union, Khon Kaen University

          This initiative to welcome the study-visit delegation from Khon Kaen University was born of a shared vision to build a strong, collaborative network for student activities across higher education institutions. Exchanging experiences in student affairs and leadership development plays a crucial role in maximising our students’ potential—both academically and as future leaders. Furthermore, it cultivates public consciousness and the ability to collaborate creatively, which are essential skills for the high-quality engineers of tomorrow.

Project Coordinator: Faculty of Engineering, Burapha University

Objectives:

  • To exchange knowledge, experiences, and best practices in student affairs and student development between the Faculties of Engineering at Burapha University and Khon Kaen University.
  • To strengthen institutional cooperation and establish a robust network for student activities.
  • To develop leadership skills, foster a sense of public service, and empower students to adapt to the evolving demands of society and the industrial sector.

Program Activities:

The Faculty of Engineering at Burapha University warmly welcomed the study visit delegation from the Engineering Student Union of Khon Kaen University. The visit provided a platform to share insights on student affairs and development strategies.

During the event, Asst. Prof. Dr Nayot Kurukitkoson, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, alongside Asst. Prof. Dr Sunchai Eiadprap, Associate Dean for Student Development, and the Burapha University Engineering Student Union jointly hosted the delegation. Together, they engaged in fruitful discussions on effective approaches to organising student activities, cultivating leadership, fostering public consciousness, and empowering students to meet future societal and industrial shifts.

This collaborative activity successfully laid the groundwork for a dynamic inter-university network. By allowing students to share experiences and learn best practices from one another, the initiative significantly enhanced their creative teamwork skills and helped shape them into high-quality future leaders.

Expected Outcomes (Impacts):

  • Stronger Collaborative Network: A dedicated network for student activities was established between the Faculties of Engineering at Burapha University and Khon Kaen University, fostering excellent relations and paving the way for future collaborations in various fields.
  • Enriched Student Experience: Through mutual learning, students from both universities gained fresh perspectives and innovative ideas for organising activities and developing leadership skills.
