Physical and Mental Health Promotion Activity: “Happiness is Self-Made” and “Psychology and Gender Equality”

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences aims to promote academic services to society, with this activity being under the “HUSO for Society Project.” The Department of Psychology therefore organized this activity with the objectives to promote the quality of life of the participants, recognize the importance of lifelong learning, and integrate psychological knowledge for the physical and mental healthcare of the participants.

          The aims:

1. To create awareness of human rights and equity regarding gender equality among participants.
2. To promote the quality of life of the participants.
3. To integrate psychological knowledge for the physical and mental healthcare of the participants.

This activity was organized as a training session for the staff and students of Thungphothale Pittaya School in Kamphaeng Phet Province. The physical and mental health promotion activity consisted of two topics: “Happiness is Self-Made” and “Psychology and Gender Equality.” The activity included lectures, mutual learning exchanges, and opportunities for participants to express their opinions in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere.

The activity creates a significant long-term positive impact by raising awareness of gender equality and human rights, helping mitigate gender-based discrimination and stereotypes in educational settings. By equipping school staff and students with practical psychological tools, the project enables them to manage their personal well-being independently. This holistic approach fosters a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment, ultimately enhancing the overall quality of life across the entire school community.
