On 23 March 2026, Dr Peerapat Mangkhang, Director of the Academic Service Office, together with Mr Utud Pitaksaychon, Deputy Director for Strategy and Organisational Quality Development, received the prestigious G-Green National Award at the Excellent Level (Gold). The award was presented by the Department of Climate Change and Environment, with Dr Raweewan Bhuridej, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, presiding over the ceremony.
This recognition highlights the organisation’s strong commitment to environmentally responsible operations and sustainable development practices.

Objectives:
The G-Green Award initiative serves as a key mechanism for elevating organisational standards toward environmentally friendly operations. Its objectives include:
- Promoting awareness of efficient resource and energy utilisation
- Enhancing environmental management practices
- Improving waste and pollution management within the Academic Service Office
- Supporting Thailand’s transition toward a low-carbon economy and society
- Reducing the impacts of climate change through sustainable organisational practices
Program Activities:
The G-Green Award ceremony recognises and honours organisations that demonstrate outstanding environmentally friendly practices, including businesses, hotels, restaurants, national parks, and offices.
In total, 357 awards were presented, categorised as follows:
- 3 G Platinum Awards
- 34 G Plus Awards
- 176 Excellent Level (G Gold) Awards
- 87 Very Good Level (G Silver) Awards
- 57 Good Level (G Bronze) Awards
The awards were presented by Dr Pirun Saiyasitpanich, Director-General of the Department of Climate Change and Environment, alongside distinguished officials.

This award reflects the Academic Service Office’s dedication to becoming a Green Office and fostering environmentally sustainable practices. It aligns with Burapha University’s strategic framework under Platform 3: Sustainable Social Development, particularly in advancing environmental solutions and addressing critical societal challenges.
