          Burapha University Faculty of Nursing Organizes “The 1st International Healthcare Conference: TRENDS” Driving Global Collaboration in Healthcare, Education, and Sustainability

         The Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University, successfully organized “The 1st International Healthcare Conference: TRENDS”                      from 2–5 November 2025 at the Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH), Royal Cliff Beach Hotel, Pattaya, Chonburi Province, Thailand.

          The conference aimed to establish an international platform for learning, collaboration, and knowledge exchange to promote research, innovation, and educational development in geriatric care, occupational health, and health crisis management, ensuring sustainable advancement in response to the rapidly changing global landscape.

          The opening ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Sumon Sakolchai, President of Burapha University Council, with Associate Professor Dr. Pornchai Jullamate, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, delivering the opening remarks. The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, who delivered an Exclusive Keynote Speech on health policy and sustainability.

          The conference featured over 45 distinguished international speakers and 141 research presenters from 52 institutions worldwide, who shared their insights and academic expertise under the theme “Translational Research in Education, Innovations, Digitalization, and Sustainability (TRENDS).” Discussions and presentations focused on transforming research findings into practical applications that improve health systems and enhance quality of life in a sustainable manner.

          This academic event clearly reflects the Faculty of Nursing’s commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:

  • SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being – by promoting innovation and knowledge that support holistic health for all ages.
  • SDG 4: Quality Education – by fostering an international platform for high-quality academic exchange and professional development.
  • SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – by building strong networks of collaboration among educational institutions, government agencies, private sectors, and international organizations.

          The TRENDS International Conference stands as a significant milestone for Burapha University’s continuous effort to create a positive global impact through knowledge, innovation, and partnerships—paving the way toward a sustainable future in health and education.
