The Faculty of Medicine, Burapha University, through Burapha University Hospital, organized the 3rd Project on Reproductive Health Promotion and Early Childhood Development Stimulation under the theme “Happy Family, Healthy Thai Children”
on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Burapha University Hospital. The event was graciously presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kitti Krungkraipetch, Deputy Dean for Research and International Relations, Faculty of Medicine, Burapha University.
The program featured a special panel discussion on “Happy Parents, Raising Screen-Free Children in the Digital Era”, led by distinguished medical experts including a child and adolescent psychiatrist, an obstetrician and gynecologist, and a pediatrician. Additionally, the event offered various educational activity booths covering topics such as healthy diets for mothers, breastfeeding for the first six months, child development enhancement, herbal remedies for child care, proper baby bathing techniques, dental health, and maternal well-being tips.
The initiative aimed to promote maternal and child health, raise awareness about reproductive health, and support early childhood development—laying the foundation for a healthier and more resilient society. It also served as a platform for medical professionals to share knowledge with families and the community, fostering family health literacy and encouraging a nurturing environment for both parents and children.
This project reflects Burapha University’s commitment to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, by promoting maternal and child care; SDG 4: Quality Education, by enhancing community health education and awareness; and SDG 5: Gender Equality, by empowering women to take an active role in maintaining reproductive and family health—contributing to sustainable happiness and well-being for all families.
