National Conference on Logistics Management 2025:
Driving Thailand’s Industrial Sector Toward Sustainability through Innovation,
Technology, and Multi-Stakeholder Collaboration

          The Faculty of Logistics, Burapha University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University, and the Federation of Thai Industries of Chonburi, Rayong, and Chachoengsao, organized the National Conference on Logistics Management 2025 under the theme “Toward a Sustainable Future: Transforming Logistics and Supply Chain in the Industrial Sector.” The event was held on 28 November 2025 at Amari Bangsaen Hotel, Chonburi, and was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sumon Sakolchai, Chairman of the University Council of Burapha University.

          The conference aimed to advance knowledge in modern logistics while promoting sustainable development within Thailand’s industrial sector. Distinguished scholars, industry leaders, and representatives from public agencies participated in the event, which was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tanyapass Muangpun, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Logistics, as the project director.

SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure

          A key highlight of the conference was the expert panel discussion titled “Digitization and Decarbonization in Transport and Logistics,” featuring internationally recognized speakers:

  • Prof. Kamonchanok Suthiwartnarueput

  • Prof. Paul Taw-Woo Lee

          The session emphasized digital transformation, smart infrastructure, and advancements in logistics innovation. These insights play a critical role in strengthening Thailand’s industrial capacity and enhancing national competitiveness through modernized logistics systems.


SDG 13: Climate Action

          The conference placed strong emphasis on environmental responsibility, particularly through discussions on decarbonization in transport and logistics—a crucial component in reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the industrial sector. The exchange of knowledge on low-carbon logistics practices supports Thailand’s long-term climate action strategies and fosters the development of environmentally conscious supply chain systems.


SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals

          The event highlighted the importance of multi-stakeholder partnerships among academia, industry, and the public sector. It created a collaborative platform for:

  • researchers

  • students

  • industry professionals

  • government agencies

          Additionally, the launch of the Asian Journal of Logistics and Intermodal Transport Management (AJLITM) marked a significant step in strengthening national and international academic collaboration in the field of logistics.

The conference featured several activities that enriched logistics knowledge and collaboration, including:
