The symposium was held in collaboration with <strong>Zhejiang Ocean University (ZJOU), People\u2019s Republic of China<\/strong>. In addition to academic presentations, the symposium focused on discussions to develop <strong>joint research proposals<\/strong>. Participants also took part in study visits focusing on <strong>coastal resource management and mangrove ecosystems<\/strong> at the <strong>Kung Krabaen Bay Royal Development Study Center<\/strong> and the <strong>Institute of Marine Science, Burapha University<\/strong>.<\/p><p><strong>The impacts<\/strong><\/p><ol start=\"1\" data-spread=\"true\"><li><strong>Participants exchanged up-to-date academic knowledge<\/strong> in the fields of oceanography and environmental science, aquaculture and fisheries, coastal resource management, and biodiversity.<\/li><li><strong>Joint research proposals were developed<\/strong> among researchers from the two institutions, which are expected to contribute to strengthening long-term academic collaboration.<\/li><li><strong>Burapha University implemented the activities under the existing cooperation agreement<\/strong>, providing participating faculties with opportunities to further develop and expand academic and research
