The event serves as a vital link between academia and the business sector, fostering collaboration and demonstrating the capabilities of future professionals. Hands-on demonstrations and services enhance public engagement and promote the gem and jewellery programs. Additionally, it served as a platform to strengthen tangible connections between the university, the local community, and the business sector\u2014both at the regional level and within the national gem and jewellery industry.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5ca532a e-flex e-con-boxed wpr-particle-no wpr-jarallax-no wpr-parallax-no wpr-sticky-section-no e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"5ca532a\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-core-v316-plus=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0b986df elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0b986df\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Program Activities:<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The event featured an exhibition of thesis works by students from the Jewellery Design program, along with various engaging activities, including gem identification services (covering both diamonds and colored gemstones), faceting technique demonstrations using angle-adjustable machines, CAD demonstrations for gemstone facet design, gemstone carving demonstrations, and a workshop on crafting auspicious stone rings.
