The project was conducted at the Khon Chanthabun Coffee Council Community Enterprise in Chanthaburi Province.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"isselectedend\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The initiative aims to strengthen farmers&#8217; knowledge and practical skills in producing <\/span><strong style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">Makpid<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\"> in accordance with <\/span><strong style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\"> standards. The experts provided technical guidance on farm management, production record keeping, input management, and quality control to ensure that farming practices comply with GAP requirements and enable farmers to improve production efficiency and long-term market competitiveness.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"isselectedend\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The field assessment was carried out with the participation of specialists from Burapha University and government agencies, including <\/span><strong style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">Assistant Professor Dr. Paitoon Kaewhom<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">, Assistant to the President for Technology Transfer and Social Engagement; <\/span><strong style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">Associate Professor Dr. Chanakan Laksana<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\"> and <\/span><strong style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">Assistant Professor Dr. Orasurang Sophipan<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">, lecturers from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Burapha University (Sa Kaeo Campus); together with agricultural experts from the Chanthaburi Provincial Agricultural Office and the Office of Agricultural Research and Development Region 6. By enhancing the production standards of Makpid, the project helps increase the value of local agricultural products, improves farmers&#8217; competitiveness, and contributes to sustainable community economic development.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"isselectedend\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The project contributes to several <\/span><strong style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">. It supports <\/span><strong style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">SDG 2: Zero Hunger<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\"> by promoting safe and sustainable agricultural production systems; <\/span><strong style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\"> by improving farmers&#8217; productivity and market opportunities; <\/span><strong style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\"> through the adoption of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP); and <\/span><strong style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\"> by fostering collaboration among universities, government agencies, and local communities to strengthen sustainable agricultural development and improve the
