These tests are important because they require less time than ELISA techniques, can be interpreted by the naked eye, and do not require specialists for result analysis. The innovations can be applied outside healthcare facilities and in livestock farms, making disease detection more accessible and practical. The awards received at ITEX 2026 reflect the international potential of Burapha University\u2019s health research and innovation.<\/p><p><strong>Project Coordinator: <\/strong>Assistant Professor Dr. Narin Changklungmoa, Assistant Professor Dr. Pornanan Kuakhai<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f218e7a e-con-full e-flex wpr-particle-no wpr-jarallax-no wpr-parallax-no wpr-sticky-section-no e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"f218e7a\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-core-v316-plus=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b622b30 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b622b30\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Objectives:<\/strong><\/p><p>he objectives of the project are to develop rapid diagnostic tests for Fasciola gigantica infection, reduce diagnosis time compared with ELISA techniques, create easy-to-use test kits that do not require specialist interpretation, support early disease detection, and expand access to diagnostic services outside hospitals and in livestock farms.<\/p><p><strong>Program Activities:<\/strong><\/p><p>The researchers developed two rapid diagnostic test kits: one for antibody detection and one for antigen detection in Fasciola gigantica infection. The test kits were designed to provide faster results than ELISA, allow visual interpretation, and be used in field settings.
