The program aimed to equip tourism entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills needed to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance business operations, improve competitiveness, and successfully adapt to the digital economy.<\/p><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The opening ceremony was presided over by Dr. Tanongsak Thepsonthi, Director of the Eastern Science Park, Burapha University, who welcomed participants and highlighted the objectives of the Frontier Technology program in promoting the adoption of emerging technologies and innovations among Thai entrepreneurs. These included Dr. Chananan Dechadilok, an expert in digital marketing and community-based tourism development through technology and social media from the Faculty of Business Administration, Burapha University, and Assistant Professor Duangkamol Neerapattanakul, a specialist in community capacity development and the integration of local products with community identity from the Faculty of Business Administration, Burapha University.<\/p><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The AI Transformation for Tourism SMEs curriculum was specifically designed to enhance the capabilities of tourism-related businesses, including hotels, restaurants, spas, tour operators, and other service providers. Participants gained insights into applying AI technologies in customer service management, data-driven decision-making, human resource management, marketing budget planning, and operational efficiency improvement.
