Held under the theme \u201cYATHA: Youth, Assembly, Traditional, Health &amp; Altruism,\u201d the program brought together 24 international students from ASEAN University Network (AUN) member universities and 12 Burapha University students for a unique intercultural learning experience.<\/p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; As a member and one of the founding institutions of the ASEAN University Network (AUN), Burapha University was honored to host AUN-BUU Summer Camp 2026, reaffirming its commitment to fostering academic collaboration, intercultural exchange, and regional engagement among ASEAN youth. Throughout the three-day program, participants engaged in body composition analysis and health assessments, gaining insights into their physical condition and receiving guidance on appropriate exercise and lifestyle practices for long-term health promotion and disease prevention.<\/p><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The program featured a variety of interactive and hands-on workshops focusing on holistic health care and traditional Thai wellness techniques. Participants learned about Thai traditional medicine, facial massage, and Gua Sha therapy while exploring proper muscle relaxation techniques and healthy movement practices. Faculty members and health professionals provided practical demonstrations on how different exercises and body movements contribute to the functioning of various muscle groups and body systems, enabling participants to better understand the role of physical activity in maintaining overall health and well-being.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fba2e0f e-flex e-con-boxed wpr-particle-no health, participants also took part in mindfulness and meditation sessions designed to enhance self-awareness, concentration, stress management, and emotional balance. These activities encouraged students to adopt healthy habits and recognize the importance of holistic wellness in their daily lives.<\/p><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 A special session on Thai herbal beverages introduced participants to the nutritional and medicinal properties of traditional herbs commonly used in Thailand. Students learned about the preparation processes, ingredients, and health benefits of various herbal drinks and gained insights into how Thai communities have long utilized natural resources and local wisdom to promote wellness, strengthen immunity, and prevent illness. It advances SDG 4: Quality Education through experiential, interdisciplinary, and intercultural learning opportunities that enhance students\u2019 knowledge and practical skills. The camp contributes to SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities by providing equal opportunities for students from diverse countries and backgrounds to learn and engage together. Furthermore, it supports SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening collaboration among AUN member universities and fostering regional cooperation for sustainable development.
