These expired cosmetics are repurposed for use in mortuary makeup, allowing resources that remain usable to be managed effectively and utilized to their fullest potential. The project also aims to raise awareness and encourage responsible resource management among faculty, staff, and students, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, particularly Target 12.5, which focuses on substantially reducing waste generation through prevention, reduction, reuse, and recycling by 2030.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-be8c03b e-flex e-con-boxed wpr-particle-no wpr-jarallax-no wpr-parallax-no wpr-sticky-section-no e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"be8c03b\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-core-v316-plus=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a4e5e17 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a4e5e17\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The objectives of the project were: (1) to collect expired cosmetic products and deliver them to the \u201cBaengboon Suay\u201d platform for use in mortuary makeup, and (2) to promote efficient and responsible resource management among faculty members, staff, and students. As part of the project activities, fourth-year students from the International Business Communication Program were actively involved in creating donation boxes using leftover and recyclable materials such as cardboard boxes, cartons, colored paper, and plastic scraps. A total of three donation boxes were produced, reflecting the concept of resource efficiency and reuse.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2ae6031 e-flex e-con-boxed wpr-particle-no wpr-jarallax-no wpr-parallax-no wpr-sticky-section-no e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"2ae6031\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-core-v316-plus=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f849f3d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f849f3d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The donation boxes were placed at three designated collection points: the front of the Dean\u2019s Office on the 1st floor of the International College Building, the cafeteria of the International College Building, and the hallway on the 1st floor of the male dormitory of the International College. This activity represents an academic service that creates direct positive social impact by supporting mortuary services while maximizing the use of existing resources. Moreover, the project contributes to reducing cosmetic and plastic packaging waste that would otherwise be discarded, by transforming waste into reusable resources for mortuary makeup.
