The project serves as an international academic platform that enables university students across the ASEAN region to express their perspectives, exchange ideas, and propose policy-oriented solutions to contemporary public issues. It aims to enhance critical thinking, academic communication, and the practical application of knowledge through competitive participation and cross-national academic engagement. For students from Burapha University, participation in AVISOC 2025 provides a valuable opportunity to strengthen academic competence, gain international exposure, and demonstrate the role of Thai youth in addressing regional challenges. The students\u2019 works focus on urban management, environmental governance, air pollution, and disaster response\u2014key issues that reflect the complexity of modern societies and align with the broader principles of sustainable development. The significance of this project lies in fostering an integrated learning environment that bridges theory and practice, promotes regional academic collaboration, and encourages students to become Activities:<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The ASEAN Virtual Student Opinion Competition (AVISOC) 2025 was implemented through a series of online academic activities. The project began with an open call inviting students from higher education institutions across the ASEAN region to submit opinion-based and policy-oriented works. Participating students developed and submitted their works via an online platform, following the designated themes. The submissions were reviewed and evaluated by an international panel of experts and academics. In parallel, the project featured academic seminars, keynote sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities that encouraged interaction among participants from different countries. At the faculty level, Dr Noppawan Phuengpha was invited to serve as a distinguished speaker to deliver an opening remark titled \u201cEnhancing Public Management and Leadership for Sustainable Community Development in ASEAN.\u201d This invitation reflects international recognition of Burapha University&#8217;s academic expertise and strengthens the University\u2019s role in advancing knowledge on governance and sustainable development within the ASEAN region.<\/p><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 At the student level, the project enhanced policy-oriented analytical skills, academic communication, and international presentation experience. As a result, three students from Burapha University received Bronze Medals for their scholarly works: Miss Pawinee Aoebaim, \u201cGreen Tourism: Policy Approaches for Managing Overtourism in Chonburi Province\u201d; Miss Kamonnat Noree, \u201cStopping PM2.5 Dust Starts with Us: Policy Responses to Air Pollution in Bangkok\u201d; and Miss Tidatip Kaownopparat, \u201cStorm and Flood Problems: Public Administration Responses to the Bualoy Storm.\u201d These achievements demonstrate the students\u2019 ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges in urban management, environmental governance, public well-being, and disaster response.<\/p><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The project outcomes align with the broader principles of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting inclusive learning, responsible policy thinking, and sustainable societal development. Overall, the project highlights the effectiveness of integrating classroom learning with international academic engagement, thereby contributing to student development and enhancing Burapha
