The project was conducted under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on academic and research cooperation between the two institutions. Its primary objective was to enhance international capacity building in education and research, while simultaneously fostering academic collaboration networks among higher education institutions and researchers across Asia. The meeting was organized under the theme <strong data-start=\"892\" data-end=\"969\">\u201cAI-Driven Low-Carbon Smart Manufacturing and Industrial Transformation,\u201d<\/strong> reflecting a shared commitment to the development of intelligent industries that emphasize sustainability and environmental impact reduction.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"1113\" data-end=\"2135\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, palatino;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The program featured research presentations and project showcases related to the advancement of smart manufacturing, as well as study visits to leading organizations and research centers that apply <strong data-start=\"1311\" data-end=\"1343\">Artificial Intelligence (AI)<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1345\" data-end=\"1373\">Internet of Things (IoT)<\/strong> technologies, and smart manufacturing systems to enhance production efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. Key sites included the <strong data-start=\"1505\" data-end=\"1556\">Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI)<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1558\" data-end=\"1596\">Data System Public Company Limited<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"1602\" data-end=\"1656\">Asia UAV Artificial Intelligence Innovation Center<\/strong>, and IoT and Smart Manufacturing operation centers at <strong data-start=\"1711\" data-end=\"1763\">National Chin-Yi University of Technology (NCUT)<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1768\" data-end=\"1805\">National Formosa University (NFU)<\/strong> in Taichung and Yunlin. The activities provided a valuable platform for more than <strong data-start=\"1888\" data-end=\"1959\">40 researchers from Thailand, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, and Taiwan<\/strong> to exchange knowledge, experiences, and best practices in research and academic services, while laying a strong foundation for future interdisciplinary research \u00a0This project aligns with multiple <strong data-start=\"2171\" data-end=\"2211\">Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong>, particularly <strong data-start=\"2226\" data-end=\"2254\">SDG 4: Quality Education<\/strong>, through the enhancement of academic and research capacity at the international level; <strong data-start=\"2342\" data-end=\"2392\">SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure<\/strong>, by promoting research and innovation in smart manufacturing; <strong data-start=\"2455\" data-end=\"2505\">SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2510\" data-end=\"2536\">SDG 13: Climate Action<\/strong>, through the promotion of low-carbon manufacturing concepts and the application of technology to support sustainable development; and <strong data-start=\"2671\" data-end=\"2709\">SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals<\/strong>, through the expansion of international academic networks with <strong data-start=\"2773\" data-end=\"2790\">NCUT (Taiwan)<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2795\" data-end=\"2852\">Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM)<\/strong>. These collaborations aim to produce at least one joint academic or research project with each partner university by <strong data-start=\"2970\" data-end=\"2978\">2026<\/strong>. Furthermore, the project demonstrates efficient resource management, having utilized significantly less than the allocated budget, reflecting cost-effectiveness and sustainability in project implementation. Overall, the project was deemed highly successful, generating tangible benefits for the Faculty of Logistics and Burapha University, and serving as a strong foundation for future expansion of
