Recognising the need for deeper comprehension, the Department of Law, Faculty of Political Science and Law, Burapha University, has launched a special lecture project titled \u201cCriminal Law Principles and Conspiracy Theory, and the Proportionality of Criminal Penalties.\u201d The project delivers doctrinal foundations, theoretical frameworks, and Thai criminal punishment principles while enhancing legal reasoning on contemporary issues. It advances the criminal justice system in line with SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.<\/p><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Targeted at undergraduate law students and the public, it refines understanding of criminal liability and proportionate punishment norms. A distinguished criminal law expert has been invited to provide academic perspectives, professional insights, and advanced analyses. This initiative strengthens undergraduate legal education, builds academic capacity, and cultivates knowledge responsive to Thailand\u2019s evolving justice landscape. Thus, the Department establishes this project for Bachelor of Laws students to promote high-quality legal education and a deeper understanding of criminal law within the academic community.<\/p><p><strong>Project Coordinator: <\/strong>Assoc. understanding of the general principles of Criminal Law in relation to conspiracy theory.<\/li><li>To equip law students with academic knowledge regarding Criminal Law, including the principle of proportionality of criminal penalties.<\/li><li>To enhance the competencies of students in the Department of Law, Faculty of Political Science and Law, and to implement activities that are consistent the project as a lecture on October 17, 2025, from 08:30 to 16:30. Participants will gain enhanced knowledge and understanding to advance criminal law expertise in alignment with Thailand\u2019s current socio-legal context. Distinguished experts will deliver academically rigorous content, analysing provisions of the Thai Penal Code and Supreme Court judgments. The program includes interactive Q&amp;A sessions and case studies to promote practical learning and critical application of legal principles.<\/p><p><strong>Expected Outcomes (Impacts):<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Project participants gain greater knowledge and understanding to develop criminal law expertise aligned with Thailand&#8217;s current circumstances.
